The role
Network Engineer: Designs, develops, and maintains local and wide area networks, troubleshoots performance issues, and optimizes network hardware and software.
Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Analyzes and resolves network traffic and capacity-planning solutions.
Configures and optimizes telephone systems, voicemail, and video conferencing environments.
Requires 10-15 years of experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance, with expertise in LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and routing protocols.
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate effectively.
Certifications in CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
Experience with Fortinet, VeloCloud, and Palo Alto is desired.
BA/BS in computer science, information technology, or engineering, or equivalent.
