The role
Lead Civil Engineer for roadway and highway projects with emphasis on Caltrans-led initiatives in Southern California.
Develop design plans, calculations, and specifications using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to produce timely, high-quality deliverables and production work plans.
Assist in preparing Caltrans PS&E packages, including cost estimates, special provisions, and bid documents.
Apply Caltrans standards and Highway Design Manual guidelines to ensure compliant, constructible designs; participate in field reviews.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused multidisciplinary team.
