The role
An In-House Counsel in Glasgow provides legal support on commercial, compliance and regulatory matters for a global technology company. The role involves drafting and negotiating complex contracts, offering strategic guidance on risk management, and managing disputes and litigation processes. The candidate will collaborate with various business units and legal teams across EMEA to standardise practices, improve workflows, and promote legal technology solutions including AI. They must possess strong legal drafting skills, commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities. The role requires a qualified UK lawyer with over 7 years PQE, experience in international law firms or in-house legal departments, and an ability to work in a dynamic, cross-regional setting.
