The role
The role involves investigating environmental offences such as fly tipping, littering and waste management issues under the direction of team managers. Candidates should possess strong organisational, investigatory and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in diverse weather conditions. The position requires engaging with the public, handling sensitive situations, and maintaining accurate records using IT systems. Experience in environmental crime, health, or enforcement is advantageous but transferable skills are welcomed. Candidates must meet GCSE requirements in English, Mathematics and Science, with a degree or previous enforcement experience being beneficial.
