The role
An operations manager oversees repairs and maintenance for new homes, manages trades and contractors, and ensures standards and compliance are met. The role involves engaging with customers to resolve issues, supporting departmental targets, and liaising with other departments such as construction and sales. The candidate should have technical knowledge of defect remedies, customer liaison skills, and a full UK driving licence. Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety compliance, managing customer snagging, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires experience in the New Homes Quality Code, boundary dispute resolution, and trade management in a construction environment. The role is based at the Bedford office on a fixed-term 12-month contract.
