The role

The Private Cloud Engineer is responsible for the design, build, and operation of a multi-tenant private cloud platform based on OpenStack, supporting large-scale engineering workloads. They will develop Infrastructure as Code practices, automating deployment and management using tools like Terraform and Ansible, and develop platform services and APIs primarily with Python. The role involves driving improvements in the system's reliability, scalability, and performance, as well as leading incident response processes and root cause analysis. Collaboration with engineering teams to enhance platform usability is key, alongside mentoring engineers and setting technical standards. Candidates should possess strong experience in OpenStack projects, automation, Linux internals, programming, and managing secure multi-tenant systems at scale.
