The role
The legal counsel focuses on advising and supporting lending and financing transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and executing bridge and real estate finance deals. They provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice, working closely with business stakeholders across lending, credit, and investment functions. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing finance documentation, advising on transaction structuring, and managing legal risks, supporting transaction execution from start to finish. The role requires excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills, with the ability to handle multiple matters accurately and efficiently. Strong stakeholder management and understanding of secured lending structures are essential, along with the ability to balance legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations.
