The role
Observe and learn from experienced teachers and school leaders to master instructional techniques and classroom management.
Co-teach with teacher-leaders and provide substitute coverage to ensure smooth daily instruction.
Teach a class or small groups as assigned, gradually increasing responsibility and load.
Provide daily tutoring and small-group interventions to support student progress, using data to inform instruction.
Support enrichment classes, mentor students, and assist with events and advisory activities.
Engage in comprehensive professional development and coaching, with the goal of becoming a strong full-time educator by year-end.
