The role
Oldham RLFC is seeking a dedicated Lead Physiotherapist to oversee physiotherapy services for the First Team within a semi-professional rugby environment. The role involves assessing, treating, and rehabilitating players, supporting their welfare, and maximising match and training availability. Key duties include delivering evidence-based rehabilitation, coordinating return-to-play processes, and providing high-quality clinical care during training and matches. Suitable candidates will possess a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, HCPC registration, CSP membership, and pitch-side trauma certification. Experience in sports physiotherapy, injury management, and rehabilitation programme design is essential, alongside strong communication and teamwork skills. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel throughout the season.
