The role
Lead and implement computer vision and AI/ML solutions to detect and extract real-world objects from 360 imagery, video, LiDAR, and oriented imagery to support authoritative geospatial datasets.
Build scalable software for imagery, video, LiDAR, and 3D geospatial data, delivering production-ready features in Python, C++, and C#.
Optimize and deploy ML models in production, evaluate new AI/ML frameworks, and contribute to system architecture, performance, and code quality.
Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams in an Agile environment to translate cutting-edge research into practical GIS solutions.
Work with GPU-accelerated workflows (CUDA) and leverage standard frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV) to drive high-performance results.
Focus on object detection, segmentation, feature extraction, and change detection to support roadway, asset management, and facility planning use cases.
