The role
Support end-user hardware and software across Windows, Linux, and macOS, enabling productive research and development work.
Administer Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows server environments and maintain secure, compliant computing setups.
Manage device management systems (Active Directory, JAMF, Puppet) and support virtual infrastructure (VMware) and cloud services (AWS).
Maintain backup infrastructure (Veeam) and configure networking, including firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, and VLANs.
Provide guidance on system acquisitions and document new technologies and applications for the team.
Operate within security-clearance environments and pursue required certifications, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and CI polygraph as needed.
