The role
Manage a book of commercial lines (property and casualty) with a high degree of independent discretion and professional decision-making.
Provide day-to-day service to clients, support Producers and Account Executives, and seek to retain and grow book of business.
Coordinate marketing, renewals, and all required paperwork while maintaining broker standards.
Assess clients’ insurance objectives, compare plans for suitability, and stay informed on industry changes to make informed recommendations.
Act as liaison between clients and carriers to resolve escalated issues, negotiate with underwriters, and troubleshoot billing or service problems.
Document conversations, maintain data accuracy in management systems, generate management reports, and mentor junior staff as needed.
