The role
Manages the event planning function and team on a daily basis, including Senior Event Managers, Event Managers, Associate Event Managers, and Administrative Assistants.
Oversees the pre-event and post-event processes, ensuring seamless turnover from sales to operations and back while delivering a high level of service.
Drives revenue opportunities through accurate forecasting and up-selling of catering and group room blocks.
Responsible for guest and employee satisfaction and for the financial performance of the department; oversees 87,946 SQ FT of event space.
Leads menu development, vendor relationships, and adherence to standards and safety procedures; collaborates with sales and marketing strategies.
Coaches and trains staff, manages staffing levels, resolves guest issues, and supports continuous improvement of service quality.
