The role
Lead the development and operation of a concrete fabrication and testing lab, focusing on evaluating SCMs in mortars and concretes per ASTM standards.
Design and execute concrete mixes, perform rheology, mechanical, and durability testing, and establish specs for sustainable cementitious blends.
Develop and implement design of experiments (DOE), analyze results, and generate bi-weekly reports summarizing insights for cross‑functional teams.
Guide the product evaluation team, foster a collaborative culture, and contribute to lab scale‑up from bench to pilot and production.
Collaborate with system engineering to support plant design, fabrication, and equipment calibration or upgrades; stay current with literature and conferences.
Identify processing and parameter refinements to improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability of cementitious materials.
