The role
The role involves providing technical leadership and defining architectural strategies for multidisciplinary teams working on generative AI, predictive modelling, and optimisation within a fintech environment. Candidates will design and operate production AI/ML systems, develop scalable platforms and services, and translate emerging AI capabilities into impactful solutions. Responsibilities include establishing engineering standards, mentoring teams, and partnering across functions to deploy AI solutions at scale. The role demands extensive experience in software engineering, AI deployment, API and data pipeline design, and familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools. Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and the ability to lead complex projects are essential, with additional familiarity in disciplined AI practices and regulated environments considered advantageous.
