The role
The Cloud Operations Engineer at White & Case is responsible for managing and supporting the firm's global cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, Google Suite, and AI tools. They act as a second or third line SME for complex incidents, collaborating with international teams to resolve issues and ensure platform stability. They assist in project delivery, configuration, testing, and documentation of cloud solutions, supporting service transitions and onboarding activities. The role requires monitoring emerging cloud technologies to enhance infrastructure and service capabilities while ensuring security, governance and compliance standards are maintained. The engineer must demonstrate excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, working effectively across multiple cloud platforms and with diverse stakeholders. They are tasked with improving operational support, resolving escalations, and contributing to the development of support capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
