The role
A construction project manager in London is responsible for planning, executing, and closing construction and refurbishment projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. They develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, budget, and schedules, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members. The role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure design feasibility and project efficiency, managing procurement and construction progress, and monitoring safety compliance. The manager also oversees project budgets, identifies cost-saving measures, and conducts regular site visits to assess quality and safety standards. Leading and supporting a team of construction professionals is key, along with resolving issues quickly to prevent delays or conflicts. The position requires travel across the UK and Northern Ireland, with experience in managing multi-sector construction projects highly advantageous.
