Estimator (Civil Construction Projects)

Responsible for estimating heavy civil construction projects with underground utilities (wet and dry), including labor, materials, equipment, and production costs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project timelines, budgets, and potential risks; review plans, specs, and bid requirements.
Prepare and analyze bid documents, reflect last-minute price changes, and ensure timely bid turnover for turnover to Superintendent and project management.
Estimate crew size, equipment, and daily expenses; negotiate with material suppliers and subcontractors; highlight risk costs to Chief Estimator.
Leverage experience in underground utilities and strong organizational skills, with proficiency in MS Office and HCSS/Heavy Bid.
Meet qualification criteria, pass background and drug screenings, and contribute to a collaborative project team.
