Reporter – York Region

This role involves researching and reporting on municipal, community, and local business topics across York Region. The successful candidate will create engaging news stories, handle social media platforms, and produce content in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. They must adapt quickly to shifting news cycles, prioritise tasks efficiently, and maintain high journalistic standards. Candidates should have a background in journalism, strong language skills, and experience with data analysis and translation. The position requires flexible hours, travel within the community, and the ability to work remotely. Knowledge of local Chinese communities and familiarity with Canadian legal and journalistic standards are advantageous.
