Mechanical Technician - Southampton

The role involves installing, testing, assembling, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment. It requires analysing job cards, troubleshooting mechanical equipment, disassembling and replacing worn parts, and verifying repairs through start-up testing procedures. The technician will operate specialised equipment, work on customer sites and in workshops, and complete paperwork accurately. Following health and safety procedures is essential, along with maintaining a tidy work environment. The position requires experience in site work, preferably in the water utility industry, and a flexible, organised approach with a positive attitude. Being part of the call-out rota is also expected in this role.
