Procurement Specialist

A procurement specialist is responsible for managing subcontracts related to UK MoD aircraft support, ensuring contractual compliance, performance, and risk mitigation. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, leading negotiations, and fostering supplier partnerships to drive cost savings and innovation. The individual will ensure the alignment of procurement strategies with programme needs and execute contractual agreements. Applicants should demonstrate extensive experience in defence procurement, strong relationship management, and knowledge of the Chinook platform. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP/ERP is required, alongside adaptability and excellent communication skills. The position requires physical presence in Gosport at least three days a week and the ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.
