Senior MLOps Engineer-1

Role: You will join the Horizontal Data Science Enablement Team within SSO Data Science to address MLOps challenges, manage the Databricks platform for the organization, and lead automation and best-practices across ML workflows. Responsibilities include administering Databricks clusters and workspaces, monitoring for high workloads and cost, enforcing security controls and data encryption, enabling seamless data source integration, and providing timely support for infrastructure issues. You will design and implement MLOps solutions such as model monitoring, a feature store/catalog, and model lineage, as well as CI/CD pipelines to govern the ML lifecycle from development to production. You will maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency, and system health, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones. Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; 2+ years in DevOps/SRE; strong coding in Python or Java/C++; solid SQL fundamentals; experience with Databricks, MLflow, and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Chef); strong problem-solving and communication skills. Nice-to-haves: SQL tuning, automation, and ability to operate in a 24x7 environment.
