R&D Scientist in Machine Learning for Simulations

Join our Kraków research center as an R&D Scientist specializing in Machine Learning for Simulations. You will design, implement, and validate ML-enhanced simulation pipelines to accelerate numerical simulations used in power grid engineering, including surrogate models and input-parameter suggestions. You will work with CFD-type solvers and grid simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Abaqus, Ansys, COMSOL, PSCAD) and develop robust ML training and inference workflows in Python. You will lead multi-disciplinary research projects, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, publish results, and contribute to patents and technical reports. You will drive automation and optimization of simulation workflows, share knowledge across the organization, and communicate complex findings to diverse audiences. Fluency in English and a collaborative, proactive mindset are essential.
