Database Administrator – Barrow-in-Furness

A database administrator performs tasks including managing SQL and Solaris environments, with familiarity in Oracle, SQL Server, MYSQL, and Postgres, supporting client operations. The role involves completing assigned projects within deadlines and assisting project managers with technical responsibilities. Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and technical proficiency in relevant database technologies. Knowledge of early versions of these technologies and experience supporting business-as-usual and project work are advantageous. Candidates with or who have held high-level security clearance are preferred, as security clearance will be required prior to appointment.
