Musicians Wanted for Underground Band in Edinburgh

A band based in Edinburgh seeks musicians of all levels and instruments including guitar, bass, drums, and percussion to create a raw, grooving sound rooted in garage, punk, psychedelia, and alternative influences. Participants are encouraged to experiment freely, develop unique sounds, and work on danceable, heavy grooves without imitating existing bands or scene trends. The project emphasises fun, authenticity, and personal expression over fame, aiming to craft a distinct musical identity through collective effort and open collaboration. Influences span from 13th Floor Elevators to Hawkwind, The Cramps, and punk icons, encouraging a diverse and eclectic approach. Technical skills in rhythm, groove, and improvisation are valued, alongside a passionate attitude and willingness to learn and experiment. The environment includes rehearsal spaces and weekend jam sessions to foster a creative and energetic vibe, prioritising originality and rawness over polish.
