Fortinet Network Engineer – Derby

The Network Engineer will lead the deployment and management of Fortinet security solutions including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, and Fortinet SD-WAN, working closely with an experienced Network Architect. Responsibilities include configuring and managing FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer across multiple sites, and maintaining network security through proactive troubleshooting and lifecycle management. The role requires a strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF/BGP, NAT, and VPNs, as well as experience delivering greenfield network projects. The candidate must produce clear documentation, work independently, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential due to site visits, with on-site work expected.
