Senior Writer / Content Strategist

Leads and coordinates the development of strategic written content in support of NSF OLPA communications.
Serves as a senior content advisor, aligning written products with NSF mission objectives and communication priorities.
Writes and edits high-visibility content including articles, white papers, reports, press materials, web content, and leadership communications.
Develops and implements content strategies and messaging plans tailored to diverse stakeholder audiences; manages writing assignments, priorities, and review cycles across multiple content types and platforms.
Collaborates with OLPA leadership, subject-matter experts, editors, designers, and digital staff; ensures consistency of voice, tone, and messaging; ensures AP Style, NSF style guidelines, Plain Writing Act compliance, and Section 508 accessibility standards.
Supports surge requirements and rapid-turnaround communications efforts.
