Director, AI and ML Engineering – Anywhere

The role entails providing technical leadership and setting architectural standards for multidisciplinary teams working on AI and ML systems. Candidates will design, develop, and operate production AI/ML solutions such as generative AI, intelligent agents, and predictive modelling. They are expected to develop scalable AI platforms, define testing and observability strategies, and optimise system performance in terms of latency, throughput, and cost. Collaboration with various teams to deploy and maintain AI solutions is essential, along with mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, AI deployment, API design, and cloud technology. Knowledge of enterprise AI governance, security, and operational best practices is highly valued.
