Principal Data Scientist & Machine Learning Researcher

This position involves leading the design and delivery of advanced data science and machine learning projects within a strategic research group, working with high levels of autonomy. Responsibilities include developing novel AI models, leading technical teams, and engaging with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Candidates are expected to have extensive experience in AI/ML algorithms, model deployment, and team management, with proficiency in Python, ML pipelines, and cloud environments. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to produce scientific publications, and experience working in defence or government projects is desirable. Work is performed in a hybrid setting at Gloucester, London, or Manchester, with security clearance necessary to operate at the required level.
