Mechanical Design Engineer – Wolverhampton

A Mechanical Design Engineer is sought to support aerospace engineering projects in Wolverhampton. The role involves designing mechanical components and assemblies, creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models using Siemens NX, and applying GD&T and tolerance analysis. Responsibilities include participating in DFMEA, risk assessments, and collaborative design reviews, as well as supporting prototype testing and troubleshooting. Candidates should possess a mechanical engineering degree or HNC/HND, with experience in rotating equipment design and technical documentation. Proficiency in PLM/PDM systems such as Teamcenter is expected, along with strong CAD skills and understanding of manufacturing processes. This position requires on-site work and is classified inside IR35 for the duration of 12 months.
