Senior AI Platform Engineer

The Senior AI Platform Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing infrastructure strategies for large language model programmes. This role offers technical leadership in compute, data, model management, and platform engineering to support research-to-production AI applications. Collaboration with research, product, infrastructure, data engineering, and MLOps teams is essential to design platforms that facilitate training, evaluation, and deployment of AI systems. Key tasks include managing AI platform roadmaps, designing compute environments, optimising workloads, and establishing lifecycle capabilities for models and data. The role requires a strong technical background in large-scale AI platforms, GPU infrastructure, cloud services, and distributed systems, as well as leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams.
