PR Manager British Sailing

The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) is seeking an experienced PR Manager to shape and communicate the organisation's messaging for British Sailing, both domestically and internationally. The role involves developing and executing strategic PR campaigns that promote the sport’s high-performance and social values, working with athletes and media to tell compelling stories. The manager will act as a media spokesperson during events, managing media relations and creating integrated communication plans across multiple channels. A strong background in PR, preferably within sport or purpose-driven sectors, is essential to build relationships and drive engagement. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, storytelling skills, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, based partly in Eastleigh, with international travel opportunities.
