Design and develop electrical applications for heavy-vehicle electrical systems per customer specs and engineering standards.
Create electrical circuits and systems, including schematics and application drawings, to meet vehicle requirements.
Support manufacturing with questions, corrections, and modifications within a 10% time allocation, and prepare change documentation.
Collaborate with suppliers to apply electrical components and systems to the vehicle.
Analyze customer and engineering specifications to develop required electrical schematics and applications, and manage status of deliverables.
Conduct design reviews, stay current with new electrical technologies, and document designs thoroughly.
