Senior Back End Engineer – Cardiff

This role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud platform services that support digital products used by UK businesses. The engineer will develop and improve automation, observability, monitoring, and CI/CD processes while writing clean code and infrastructure-as-code solutions. Embedding site reliability engineering principles such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets is essential for continual service enhancement. The position requires supporting live operations, incident management, troubleshooting, and ensuring platform resilience. Collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams and mentoring colleagues are key responsibilities in this role.
