Maintenance Technician - Industrial Manufacturing

Job Overview: Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations across multiple facilities. The technician maintains machinery and operations areas, ensuring uptime and safety. Essential duties include servicing and maintaining equipment (punch presses, press brakes, lasers, plasmas, tube benders, HVAC), learning to operate and break down machinery, inventorying parts and tooling, and participating in preventative maintenance. Responsibilities also include designing, building and installing special projects; researching cost-effective methods; and tracking maintenance activities in FIIX software. Off-hours work may be required for preventative and other maintenance tasks. Required: ability to read blueprints; measure with tape measures, micrometers and calipers; operate tools and equipment; detail-oriented; team-oriented; strong communication; ability to work independently; valid driving between local plant locations (Melrose Park and Elk Grove Village). Education: High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years industrial maintenance experience preferred; HVAC/electrical experience preferred; background check and drug screen required. This is a full-time, onsite role in Melrose Park, IL.
