Compliance Officer

The Compliance Officer is responsible for fostering a compliance culture across the organisation, ensuring adherence to consumer regulation, and embedding principles into operational practices. The role involves identifying regulatory risks, developing controls, and managing changes in regulation within the financial services sector. The officer provides advisory support to various teams including marketing, credit, and product, and ensures compliance in customer communications and financial promotions. They produce reports for governance committees, support strategic projects, and undertake FCA SM&CR administration. Additionally, the role includes supporting assurance reviews and participating in governance meetings to offer compliance insights. Candidates should have at least three years' experience in UK motor finance regulation, working knowledge of FCA sourcebooks, and awareness of related legislation, with capabilities in risk and compliance management tools.
