The role
Position seeks an experienced Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation attorney to join a fast-growing firm in Chicago on a 3/2 hybrid schedule. The role emphasizes advising clients on compliance, plan design, risk mitigation, and corrective actions across a broad range of benefit programs. Responsibilities include handling executive employment agreements, deferred compensation, severance, and equity-based incentive plans (stock options, restricted stock, phantom equity), as well as health and welfare plans and qualified retirement plans, and providing benefits support in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience and holds an active Illinois license or is barred in the state of residence, thriving in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Salary: $300,000 - $450,000.
