The role
The role involves creating accessible and user-centred content for websites, interfaces, and service journeys, including microcopy, forms, and email content. It includes supporting bids, shaping websites, and crafting marketing material grounded in user value, all while working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasises accessibility, applying WCAG standards and GOV.UK style guides, with a focus on measuring and improving content through analytics and user research. Learners will receive coaching from senior team members and have opportunities to contribute across various projects, gradually taking on more accountability. Candidates should demonstrate potential, curiosity, and excellent organisational skills, alongside familiarity with accessibility standards, plain-English principles, and common tools like CMS and Google Docs.
