The role
Take ownership of the full estimating process for public building projects, from plan review to bid submission.
Develop detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates, and rigorously analyze subcontractor and supplier bids.
Lead competitive bid proposals, identify risks, and implement value engineering solutions.
Collaborate closely with project managers during preconstruction to refine scope and budgets.
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to improving internal estimating systems and procedures.
Build lasting relationships with subcontractors and vendors while managing multiple bids under tight deadlines in a hybrid work setting in Ludlow, MA.
