The role
Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced data science models to prevent fraud in global merchant lending products. Collaborate with Risk Platform, Data Science, Operations, Product Management, Legal & Compliance to translate requirements into scalable risk solutions. Conceive and monitor risk management strategies to minimize fraud losses while balancing user experience and business costs. Ensure data quality and governance, drive best practices, and mentor junior data scientists. Communicate complex findings and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences; monitor performance and optimize existing and new solutions. Requires 3+ years of credit or fraud risk analytics, a quantitative degree, and proficiency in Python, R, SQL, plus strong business judgment.
