The role
As the Civil/Structural Engineer, you will provide civil/structural design and analysis from concept through construction for facilities projects, applying codes and standards.
You will develop project scopes, estimates, and equipment/material recommendations, and facilitate design reviews with operations and maintenance teams.
You will coordinate design, construction/installation, commissioning, startup, and documentation activities to deliver projects within scope and schedule.
You will manage contractor work efforts, optimizing cost-benefit decisions and ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
You will size and specify equipment, contribute to lifecycle management, facility planning, and environmental impact mitigation, while supporting safety and efficiency.
A DoD Secret security clearance is required and must be maintained; proficiency with AutoCAD 2012+ and MS Office is expected.
