The role
The Legal Compliance Officer is a strategic role supporting global operations by ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves implementing and monitoring compliance programmes, providing legal advice, and shaping a compliance culture aligned with company values. Responsibilities include maintaining corporate governance standards, interpretating regulatory developments, and managing legal risks across all group companies. The successful candidate will have a legal degree, membership in a recognised legal body, and experience in compliance frameworks and international regulations. Familiarity with ISO standards related to compliance and information security is required, along with over three years' experience in legal, compliance, or risk teams. The role entails engaging with internal audits, onboarding legal policies, and contributing to ESG initiatives by providing legal insights and fostering internal collaborations.
