The role
A Construction Manager specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure oversees project teams, ensures adherence to plans, and manages contract administration. They monitor construction progress, control costs and schedules, and liaise with clients and design teams to resolve on-site issues. Leading commissioning activities on water treatment projects is key, along with mentoring staff and supervising site inspectors. They develop construction management plans and ensure project budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations are met. The role involves conducting quality assurance and verifying compliance with regulatory standards, as well as participating in proposal development for new projects.
