The role
WSP seeks civil engineers with experience in water, drainage, and environmental engineering for river and flood defence projects across the UK. The role involves delivering a variety of civil engineering schemes, developing designs for hydraulic systems and flood defences, and supporting asset inspections and construction supervision. Candidates should have a civil or flood risk engineering degree and post-degree experience in hydraulic design, along with proficiency in CAD or Civil 3D. Excellent communication skills, project delivery experience, and progression towards Chartered Engineer status are essential. The position is primarily based in the north of England, working from offices in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, or Sheffield.
