The role
The Manager of Structures Engineering leads a team of 3–7 engineers to ensure the fleet's structural integrity, airworthiness, and reliability.
Define and maintain aircraft structural maintenance programs, configuration standards, and serviceability criteria to meet regulatory and safety requirements.
Oversee Airworthiness Directive (AD) and Service Bulletin (SB) incorporation, configuration control, CPCP programs, and corrosion protection system effectiveness.
Manage multiple complex projects in a matrix organization, including business justification, cost-benefit analyses, and execution oversight.
Collaborate with OEMs, the FAA, and cross-functional teams to support fleet decisions and operational excellence.
Provide leadership and development for team members, present project status to leadership, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
