The role
Oversee corporate logistics activities at national and local levels to ensure timely, cost-effective material flow.
Coordinate trucking for inbound raw materials and manage outbound shipments with carriers and freight forwarders.
Collaborate with purchasing to expedite critical materials, monitor freight rates, and select competitive carriers.
Administer contracts, audit freight invoices, and maintain freight documentation and compliance for import/export.
Partner with Engineering, plants, and the Corporate Logistics Team to plan equipment moves and optimize freight budgets.
Lead meetings and training initiatives, drive performance review processes, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
