The role
Aggressively identify and secure new accounts for microbiological, environmental monitoring and analytical services in the defined territory.
Build and nurture client relationships, penetrating locations not currently served to convert opportunities into revenue.
Represent services at industry events to generate leads and gather market intelligence; collaborate with marketing for lead generation.
Capture and manage leads and opportunities in Salesforce.com; assist prospects with quotes and ensure seamless handoff to operations.
Develop expertise on service offerings and industry trends; engage cross-functionally with scientists, QA, procurement, and project management.
Maintain a proactive stance with strong time management and persistence to meet sales targets across multiple accounts.
