The role
A group of musicians is sought to perform positive and uplifting music during a youth event at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario. The task includes approximately 20 minutes of background music during registration and a focused 5 to 10-minute performance near the event's end. Musicians will also support event promotion and attend all activities, creating a positive environment for youth. The event takes place at Peter Clark Hall and aims to discuss fears and coping mechanisms among young people. This opportunity is ideal for emerging youth musicians, particularly those aged 15 to 30, seeking performance experience. The role is in person only, with a daily honourarium and additional benefits provided.
