General Sales Manager

Lead and own the sales department P&L, driving profitability for new and used vehicle sales. Direct and develop Sales Managers, Business Managers and Sales Executives to meet monthly volume, margin, and KPI targets. Oversee stock control, pricing, and ageing strategy to optimise stock turn and profitability. Maximise finance penetration and ancillary product performance (F&I) while maintaining FCA compliance and high standards. Build strong relationships with manufacturers and groups; implement structured sales processes and daily performance reviews. Requires proven automotive leadership, data-driven decision making, and a full UK driving licence.
