The role
The Overlap seeks a dedicated editor to join their Manchester-based production team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves editing high-quality football and sports programmes, social clips, and studio inserts under strict deadlines, supporting daily broadcast workflows. The editor will collaborate closely with producers and digital teams to interpret briefs, select footage, and ensure narrative consistency, while maintaining technical quality standards for online platforms. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and related software alongside strong understanding of editing workflows is essential. Attention to detail, teamwork, and a passion for sports, particularly football, are critical to deliver engaging content that aligns with the company's style. Flexibility for working outside regular hours, including weekends and holidays, is required.
